Patient Information

Clinic

We are currently offering both in office and tele-health visits. We unfortunately do not have walk in services available at this time and are NOT taking new patients due to physician capacity.

Masking Policy

Wearing a mask at the present time is optional unless you suspect you have COVID-19 or any other respiratory illness. We strive to maintain a healthy environment for all patient populations seen in the clinic. Please consider our most vulnerable patients in challenging times like flu season. Ask our staff for any clarifications.

Results

If your results are normal, you may not hear from us. If you would like to know the results, please book with your doctor or visit MyHealth or Lifelabs online for access.

Refills

Prescription refills require an appointment. Please BOOK 1 MONTH in advance to allow adequate time for review. This is the responsibility of the patient and short notice may end up in delays with medication supply.

Hospital

Our physicians are now working to cover both Hillside and Unattached Patients in hospital, an area of significant need in our community. Please be advised that your physician's availability may vary on a week-to-week basis as a result. Urgent visits will still be available based on acuity as we support each other providing appropriate timely care.

Fees

A list of uninsured services is available at our front desk and sign posted in our clinic.

Safety

We do appreciate the current challenges for primary care in BC, however we have a ZERO tolerance policy for any emotional or physical abuse, intimidation or harassment of our staff or physicians. Failure to meet this policy may result in dismissal from our practice.

Concerns

If you'd like to provide feedback about any concerns or issues, email office.manager@hillsidemedicalcentre.ca. Note this email is NOT for other uses. We ask that your communication be respectful.
